Emberfall Saga
Emberfall Saga is the kind of RPG that respects your patience. It opens slowly, introducing a handful of characters before it lets you loose, and by the time the first real battle arrives you already know who you're fighting for. The turn-based combat is clean and readable, with clear icons and enough depth to make party building matter.
The writing surprised me. Side characters get little arcs of their own, and there are quiet moments between fights that give the world some weight. Progression is generous without feeling automatic, so leveling up always feels earned.
It runs well even on older phones, and the auto-battle option is there for grinding without forcing it on you. If you want a mobile RPG you can dip into for months, this one has legs.
What we liked
- Genuinely well-written characters
- Flexible party building
- Runs smoothly on modest hardware
