About

VectorPin started as a group chat between three friends who kept sending each other screenshots of mobile games late at night. At some point we realized we were writing longer messages than most of the reviews we could find online, so we made a small site out of it. That's basically the whole origin story.

We focus on racing and arcade titles because that's what we love, but we don't stop there. If a strategy game or an RPG grabs us, it goes on the site too. The one rule is that we play everything ourselves, on our own phones, before a single word gets written.

Games get picked in a pretty simple way. We look at what people are talking about, what looks interesting in stores, and what readers send us. Then we install it, play for at least a few days, and only write once we have a real opinion. If a game bores us halfway through, we say so.

We're not tied to any studio or publisher. Nobody pays us to like a game. The tone here is casual on purpose, because that's how we'd describe a game to a friend over coffee.
